Cory P asked: Does this board come pre-waxed or should I take it in to a local shop to get waxed before shredding the mountain? Feb 14, 2014

Paul H: It comes with a factory wax job. I didn't wax mine; I took it out of the box, set my bindings, and hit the slopes. That being said, it doesn't hurt to wax it sooner than you normally would after your first ride since the factory wax is a bit thinner than you could do personally/a shop would do. It was FAST my first day out with it, though, so you should be fine. I love this board, very comfortable ride! Feb 14, 2014

Cory P: Thanks Paul for the feedback. Feb 14, 2014
Jeffrey W: Mine came with a basic wax and tune from the factory but the wax will only last a couple of days on midwest snow. I am going to wax it before I head up to Granite Peak next week. I have been on it twice now. Feb 14, 2014

Cory P: Good to hear a fellow Midwesterner. Granite Peak is a nice drive from where i'm at in Chicago. Heading to Park City and Breck in a few weeks and can't wait to try out this board. Thanks Jeffrey. Feb 14, 2014
Jeffrey W: Yeah I normally ride at Cascade. We go up to Wausau once a season. Feb 14, 2014
Jordan S: It comes pre-waxed like all factory boards. However, many people wax their new boards before they ride. I myself am happy with the factory wax and will just wait to get another wax. I hope this helps. Feb 14, 2014

Tyler S: My board had a really thin layer that was about a year old (this is the 12/13 year model). I am getting mine waxed before I take it out and recommend the same to everyone. Feb 14, 2014

Michael B: It does come pre waxed, but depending on your local conditions it may not last long. Here in the icy east the factory wax only lasted 2 days before I waxed it. Feb 14, 2014

A shopper asked: is this a good board for and intermidate rider who wants to start fooling around in the park but also be able to shred the mountain? Nov 25, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jay S: Ya definitely I love my board I am a text book intermediate rider and this board has allowed me to advance my riding so much. However I think it does much better just free riding the mountain it curves so effortlessly and smooth. It is a little bit to large to really fool around in the park with unless u just like doing box jumps. Dec 2, 2013
