Katherine C: I bought this board last year and am a beginner as well I bought mine in a 156 and am 5'7. It isn't directional which I found to be helpful since I am still experimenting with being regular or goofy, I have found with this board for me it is easier to ride goofy. Beyond that the board is a good solid board bit I am still working in breaking it in and found it a bit difficult to manuever the first few times out last season. It is starting to become easier to handle it is just taking some patience and time on my butt to get it to become a little more manuverable but its getting there. Hope this helps a bit! Oct 24, 2013

John B: I got this snowboard and last season (2013) was the first season I snowboarded since I graduated highschool in 2001, it is deffinately a good board easy to control and stable I got the 156 and I am about 5'11 150-160lbs, so I am guessing that a 160 would be a good fit for you, I'd check the sizing chart to make sure but that sounds about right to me, and would deffinately recommend this board even though I have snowboarded in highschool, it was kind of like starting over again for me and plan on using the board again this year. I wish you luck and hope you enjoy the ride. Oct 28, 2013

Larry J: I was the similar height and weight when I bought this board and it was a very good fit for me. I wouldn't recommend going any bigger than a 156 because the board is wide and is pretty heavy already. It is a great beginner board if you are not going to be riding much park. The board works best when riding powder or just freeriding. Oct 24, 2013

Cody W: I bought the 156 board as my fisrt board last year and had a blast. I'm 6' and 200lbs, the only thing I struggled with was keeping the tip above the crusty snow later in the season. Nov 6, 2013

Eric G: For you height and weight that would be a good starter size. I myself am 6'0, 180lbs. However, I did not have good experience with my 24/7 Highway board. Oct 31, 2013
