Description: Lib Tech Skate Banana Wide Blem Snowboard

The Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard is one banana that you'll want to slide on because Lib Tech smartly puts the rider's pressure where it can best be leveraged. Banana Rocker allows the Skate Banana BTX Snowboard to be floaty in the powder, while flatish/mild cambered zones and scalloped Magne-Traction give you the pop in the park and grip on the groomers that you're looking for. Lib Tech engineered this snowboard with Power Transfer internal Sidewalls to give it the extra control and pop you need to boost off lips, and the H-Pop Wood Alloy Core makes it lightweight and super responsive. Every year the Skate Banana tops riders' wish lists, probably because it truly blends all of our favorite things.

This board has some minor cosmetic defects-nothing that affects the performance

Kevin R asked: Hello,

My son is 14 years old. He is 115 lbs, thin with size 12 boots. He has been snowboarding since age 8. He is at an awkward size for snowboarding. I want to order him a 153 wide Skate Banana. Do you think this is the right board? By the size chart he should have the 156 width for the size of his boots. Please give me some size advice. Thanks, Kevin

nathan t: It depends on what type of riding he does, if he likes park then he should probably go with the smaller boards. I have a friend who is over 6ft and rides a 150 just because he likes short boards. It's more his personal preference.

Keith M: The 153 would be much better for his size, he will have a good amount of room to grow into it also. Nov 16, 2013

A shopper asked: Hey Guys, I'm seriously considering buying this board and I have a quick question. Is this board just the larger size of the Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX wide 153? I ask because the name for this board listed at the top of this page doesn't include BTX and the specs are slightly different for the two boards. Also, above the key features on this page, it says "Key Feature for Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Wide Snowboard 153. So are these boards truly the same apart from size? Nov 16, 2013

Matt GStaff: Yes The Lib Tech Skate Banana Wide Blem Snowboard and the Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard have the exact same construction, design, and materials. The only difference are the lengths and widths. Dec 5, 2013

The Dude asked: WuZZup I'm buying my second board for this winter and I'm in between the GNU forest bailey, LibTeCh skate banana, or the never summer F1 series. I live in Montana and I'm an all-mountain kinda guy, you'll mostly catch me screwing around hitting powder stashes. More recently though I've been getting into tricks, and I need a bit of a lighter, versatile, mid-flex board that I can ride fast and hard, while making easier roatations, and softer landings from the decent drops. I would extremely appreciate some input.

Matt GStaff: Yooooo Matt - What it do?

There is something truly special about the Lib Tech Skate Banana Wide Snowboard. I'm not sure if it's the MTX Magne-Traction of the BTX (Camber/Flat-Mild Camber) Profile shape. It's pretty unreal how versital the board is even though it's marketed pretty heavily as a freestyle specific deck.

The Skate Banana honestly thrashes on hardpack, pops off of lips, and spins like like a helicopter. It's BA.
