Description: GNU Smart Pickle Wide Snowboard

The human Body is Asymmetric. Turn mechanics for toe and heel side are completely different. The angle of attack you can achieve on a toe side turn is much steeper than what is possible on a heel side turn because of ankle, knee and hip dynamics. Your toes are like fingers offering much more refined micro managed edge control on a toe side turn. Your heels line up directly under your ankle and legs offering a powerful direct connection to the heel side edge.

GNU have built the Smart Pickle in harmony with nature and around how you activate your snowboard. Think with your Pickle!

Key Features of the GNU Smart Pickle Wide Snowboard:
  • Smart Formula Asymmetric Magne-Traction
  • Deeper Heel Side Sidecut

Hey, I'm looking for a twin all mountain board that can handle some east coast icy situations. Will the magne traction do the trick even though this has a big section of rocker?

Best Answer: Hi Sean,

Yes, yes, and yes. I'm was in the same situation as you a few years ago here on midwest ice. I wanted a twin shaped all mountain freestyle board that could grip on super hard pack. I picked up a Pickle and was blown away on how well the Magne-Tractions held!

Surprising enough, the slight flat/camber sections on the nose and tail still provide a good amount of quick edge to edge response too.
