Description: Capita The Black Snowboard Of Death Snowboard

With legendary status as an all-terrain slayer, The CAPiTA Black Snowboard of Death leans toward the mountain side of riding with a custom-designed rockered nose, a subtle 5mm tapered tail, and positive camber through the mid-section. This allows for tons of pop, insane control, and flotation in powder — making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and changing conditions. The 2016/17 model features a lower tip height, stronger flex pattern, and an elongated positive camber section. Combined with the Hover Core™, NANO-Carbon forks, and an Olympic level NANO-Carbon Race Base™, The Black Snowboard of Death stands as one of the most advanced snowboards available.

I wear a size 12 boot and usually ride wide boards. Will the BSOD 162 work for me and if so what bindings would you pefer?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I had the same question myself. I ended up going with the 165 because it has a waist width of 26.2. The waist width of the 162 would have been under 26cm which would cause toes to drag on the snow on sharp turns. I would highly recommend getting the 165 with your size of foot. My foot size is 11.5. Also, I went with the Union Atlas bindings. They're amazing and are an all mountain binding that will allow you to take advantage of the entire mountain. Hope this helps.
Matt, I'm looking at the mercury and the bsod, I'm a go anywhere kinda guy and hit the kickers but not rails in the park, 200lb aggressive , what would you advise? I ride in Europe

BEST ANSWER: Oh man, that's a tough call - both are great decks. The BSOD is handsdown one of my most favorite decks in the Capita line.

It has the perfect amount of camber, rock, and flat. It slays.
