My son did research on a mid level snowboard that could be used on the park and in powder. This board had great reviews for an all around board.

Im Debating between Horroscope and Indoor Survival, Ive ridden the horoscope and loved it over the whole mountain, just when it was icy is kinda sucked. Just wondering if the indoor survival is as fun as the horoscope is with jibbing and buttering. Snowboarding is all about the fun but it would be nice to have an okay board for some icy days. Wondering what you guys recommend?

Best Answer: Hey Peter,

That 's a really good question. The Capita Indoor Survival Snowboard and the Capita Horrorscope Snowboard are both great deck. I think you'd be better off with the Indoor Survival; it has a full wood core, 2 20mm wide kevlar and carbon load bars running the whole length of the board, and it has won the TWS Good Wood & Snowboarder Platinum Pick Award.

Overall the Indoor Survival has a longer flat stable zone underneath and in between the feet with a slightly rockered nose and tail, combine that with a 5 flex rating and you have a deck that can basically go anywhere and still have an amazing freestyle influence.
