Staff Review

Dave here at the House talking about the super hot Rossignol Imperial Snowboard.
What you’re looking at is a snowboard that they are going to produce in a ton of different sizes; they’ll have narrow and wide. So basically anybody can get on this thing. Let say beginner to intermediate, all mountain. It’s a directional shape, so it’s going to have a longer nose and tail. The side cut, which is a single radius side cut so it’s going to be pretty mellow, pretty forgiving. Definitely a good cruiser to go all over the mountain.
You got a glossy top sheet combined with these sidewall construction. It’s going to hold up really good and hold an edge, good on icy hard pack terrain. The base is going to be an extruded base, very easy to take care of; I don’t have to wax quite as much. It is a dye cut base as well, so you got the three different colors of ptex cut out and laid on each other, gives it a nice poppy graphic.
Like I said, just a really good beginner to intermediate all mountain snowboard. They’re keeping it simple to keep the price down, but defiantly very good quality. And a pretty hot graphic too.

    • "Good board to get started with."

      , CHICO, CA
Pros: Good board for the beginner, Very stable at high speed, Cons: Touch too stiff.,

Imperial is affordable for the new rider, this was the first snowboard I owned and is a good basic board. Imperial is very tough, it took a lot of learners mistakes in it's stride.

    • "Great Beginner Board"

      , Quincy, MA
Pros: Rides Nice, Good Beginner Board, High Speeds Cons: Flex,

This was my first snowboard and it got me started off right. I had it for 2 years of solid riding in the brutal East Coast weather and it still holds up just like the day i bought it. I used this mainly for bombing hills with my friends but i experimented a bit with park. This board is great at high speeds and was a great beginner board for myself. The only bad thing i can thing i can think of about this board is its flex but i wasn't expecting this to be a park board anyway but other than that this is an amazing beginner board and great for all around riding on the mountain.
