Staff Review

Hi, I'm Tim from Rossignol, Mid-Western snowboard rep, talking to you today about the Rossignol Alias snowboard. The Alias is a pure twin in our line, with a pure twin flex. We have a little bit stiffer tail and tip. Softer mid-body, but don't sell it short. It's a great all-mountain twin as well. We're running, like I said, a full wood core on here, reinforced with carbon and Kevlar. Deep progressive side cut, so, it's very quick edge-to-edge. Seamless turn initiation. We also run a 4.4k base to make sure you get the best possible glide. The Rossignol Alias snowboard.

Description

Rossignol Alias Snowboard 155
If you want the Rossignol quality you have always heard about, but at a reasonable price, you need to see the Rossignol Alias Plus Snowboard. FS Twin style makes this baby great for tearing up the halfpipe or snow park while still holding its own when it comes to backcountry action. The deep progressive sidecut gives you great reaction speeds while still keeping your frame centered. The Wood C/K Core is the durable build you have come to expect from Rossignol.

Key Features of the Rossignol Alias 150cm Snowboard:
  • FS Twin style - Easy, smooth, and punchy for parks, pipe, jibbing, bonking and even a bit of backcountry
  • Deep Progressive Sidecut - The Radius progressively gets longer as you move towards the nose, but it is very short between the feet for instant reactivity and centered for a consistent feel when riding switch
  • Wood C/K Core - Combined with carbon and Kevlar fibers, these 100% wood cores gain punch and durability for outstanding performance during park sessions and all terrain riding
  • Plain die-cut 4.4 with Stone Grind base - A lower density stone ground sintered base: fast, durable, and easy to service
  • Mat/glossy combo topsheet
  • Sidecut (m): 7.5
  • Eff.edge (cm): 118.0
  • Nose/Tail (cm): 29.5
  • Waist (cm): 25.0

    • "good board for price"

Pros: durable, price, Cons: too stiff, board is a little narrow,

I have used this board for the last couple years. It is a great board for the price but its too stiff for the park. Great for cruising down the mountain though. It just doesn't have very much pop to it. Also, the board is a little narrow so my bindings hang off the sides a little and cause a little drag
