D-Mack here at The House talking about the
Lib Tech MC Kink snowboard. It's the longest running pro-model in snowboard history. Originally it was Matt Cummins that started the old BMX or Surfer-van Graphic. This is just the evolution of that snowboard. The main thing it retains is the drastic kick in the nose and the tail, hence the Kink name. What that does, it really gives you a nice long effective edge. It's going to ride like it's a longer snowboard for sure. And then just helps you get up on top of the crud, good for like any kind of riding basically.
From there, you've got their banana that they use on all their snowboards. In between the snowboard bindings, push it slide to get full contact with the rail or the hard pack snow. It is super good for pressing. Definitely going to be pretty much like the freestyle specific banana, a little bit softer flex going on to it. Works really good for like rails, boxes, jumps, park stuff, but you can ride it anywhere for sure. The reverse camber is going to float really good in any kind of like powder conditions or power through any kind of uneven terrain.
From there you got the Magne-Traction on it of course. This is going to give you a lot better edge hold versus a traditional sidecut. Other than that, sintered P-Tex sidewalls. They actually run in a die-cut base on this one. Lot of the
Libs will have some laminated graphics. This one has a die-cut, so you get really crisp popping graphics with the Lib experimental logo. So, definitely kind of cool misty base on that one.
Other than that, you got the back in blacktop sheet, pretty much will look good with anything you are rocking. Super awesome snowboard. This is definitely one of the
Libs that I like to ride, super, super good. If you are like on the Midwest or the East Coast, you don't need like a super stiff, super long banana like the Travis Rice or TRS. Definitely good one to check out. Yeah, Lib Tech MC Kink snowboard, wooh!
