This has been my go to board for the last season. Holds up fairly well at high speeds as long as you are going through pretty consistent terrain...i.e. groomers. The board is really light from edge to edge (even though it is a mid wide it has a deep side cut radius). The board is super playful...the nose and tail are really flexy. I think this is a great camber board for anyone who is freestyle oriented but still loves the entire mountain. The 6 flex rating is a little high in my view. The nose and tail flex at a 2 from what I am accustomed to. I would say the mid section is a 4.5 in stiffness. Capita is a freestyle oriented company and their flex ratings are a reflection of that in my experience. Overall a great all around board that will help someone progress into freestyle if they come from an all mountain bent like myself. I would not want a board more flexible because it would be worthless to me on the rest of the hill. Also floats pretty well because of the extra waist width i am presuming (not my pow stick though). I 5'9 and weigh between 165 and 175 pounds. Riding the 155 .
Been using this board a bit this last month as a powder board, funnily enough. It is apparently a freestyle and trick oriented stick but really I can't see how. I'm on a length a few centimetres longer than ideal but that shouldn't make too much of a difference. Really noticed the difference (less of) in pop and flex between this and my other board, which is also a freestyle board. Worked a treat in powder though, stiff enough to cut through shin deep.
