You don't have to be a fan of old-school hip hop and Biz Markie to catch the vapors; you can do it with the Burton Vapor Snowboard. It's hard to pinpoint the best features of this particular board, as it's so feature-rich and jam-packed with all the things snowboarders absolutely love. Take the Cambered profile for example, or the Vaporskin fiberglass construction. The Vapor is easy to ride on, very stable, and it can hold up to anything you throw at it. Overall, the Burton Vapor is a great board that will last for years.
Burton ICS channel boards will only work with Burton EST, Burton 3-hole or other ICS compatible bindings.
Burton 3-hole boards will only work with non-EST Burton bindings or other 3-hole compatible bindings.
Let's get one thing straight, this board is for two types of people, those who make their living snowboarding, and those who have the money and want the latest, and greatest. I unfortunately did not get a chance to do a full test on this board, I had it on a powder day, so naturally, I skipped half of my normal test. Honestly, if your looking for a powder board, don't buy this one, it handled fine, but in todays world of reverse and hybrid cambered boards, you can get alot better performance. As far as on piste? I only got one run in, but she was stable, and turned by shear thought, even when brought to the verge of 70mph. handles well in the chop. Edges held well on ice. If you want the latest and greatest and have money, buy this and continue to promote progression in snowboard tech, if your an average joe, you can get boards that perform at nearly the same scale for a lot less dough.
