My boyfriend really liked this bike!
I am really pleased with the bike, which is more about riding anywhere (doesn't mean it'll be easy) than anything else. Been out in the snow, on dry pavement, and in the raid. Added a set of Daves Mud Shovels. I will probably backpack a while before I decide on racks. BTW the time on my commute to work is the same.

im 5 7 135 pounds im newer to snowboarding second year i do a little bit of park but mainly just carving down the hill would this be a good board for me?
Justin B on Nov 30, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Justin,

The 2117 of Sweden Fader Snowboard would be a good board for you to progress on. It has a flat profile with nose and tail kick which is great for all mountain cruising and for making laps through the park.

Is the 2117 Sweden of fader good for terrain park riding? and would a 151cm board be good for me? I'm 5'9 145 pounds and boot size 9
A shopper on Dec 13, 2014
Best Answer: I just got my 2117 Sweden of fader board and it's alittle on the stiff side but it is also brand new after riding a few times it should soften up and be more flexible. I'm 5'10 and I got a 154cm with size 10.5 boots. A 151cm should be fine exspecially since your looking at park riding.

I'm 5'8' and i weigh 160, would a 154 cm work better for me over a 157cm?
nick m on Nov 23, 2014
Best Answer: I would say so. I'm 6'2" 175 and I use the 157 but a 154 would be good for your height

I'm new to snowboarding. I am 6'0" tall and weight 166lbs. Shoe size is 11. Would this board fit me and is it wide enough? I rode today 155 snowboard and my toes were sticking out.
Please advise
Andrew on Jan 18, 2014

I just hit blue mountain in Canada for the first time and was very surprised with how well I boarded. Now I'm obsessed with getting my own set up and have done a bit of research but still shaky as far as decisions on boards. I'm 5" 7 150 pounds and I believe a 150cm is the correct size for me..? Would this Swedish fader board be a good start for me with room to grow.?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2015
Best Answer: Good Day,
And welcome to snowboarding! Most companies will put you between a 148cm to 156cm length board depending on your style. Certainly this 2117 Fader board would work for you... though it is a more entry level board to cruise the mountain and develop some skills on. Our Snowboard specialists will be happy to chat with you about the perfect set-up for you: 1 (800) 409-7669.

If I am 5'7 and weigh 210lbs, what length of a board should I get?
Helen S on Jan 13, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Helen.
Female? I think in your case a 156 to 158 Men's board will give you the stability and strength for you to develop some excellent skills with. This Brigade might be the best: http://www.the-house.com/9847k2brg13zz-k2-snowboards.html. However here are a couple other options that would work: http://www.the-house.com/9852rdman13zz-ride-snowboards.html or http://www.the-house.com/9856rodam12zz-rossignol-snowboards.html. Let me know what I can do to help you.

Will a size 12 boot fit this board?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2014
Best Answer: Hi!
This 2117 Fader Snowboard will be too narrow. Generally I suggest that riders with size 11+ boots ride boards that have a waist width of 25.8cm or wider UNLESS the boots have Shrinkage Reduction Technology. Take a look at our Wide boards: http://www.the-house.com/snbd-wide-snowboards.html

Is 2117 a good snowboarding brand for beginners?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2014
Best Answer: I have been riding for 12 years & picked up the 2117 for the 13/14 riding season. Although I have only been a few times, it is a flexible & durable. So far so good. For the price, I think it's a great board for beginner or intermedia riders.
