Board Shape-Almost Twin: A very slightly directional top down profile- the length from the front contact point to the nose is only a little longer than the length from the rear contact point to the tail.
Straight Triax 30 Carbon Laminate: For heavier riders, the 30 degree fibers give smooth torsional response with a touch of edge hold at speed. The same fibers deliver full torsional response for lighter riders. Carbon in the nose tail increase longitudinal pop without adding unwanted torsional stiffness.
Sinter Speed Base: Rome's highest level of wax absorption at a rate of 2.00 mg per cm2: high speed.
Impact Plates: A Rome exclusive technology are thinly milled titanal aluminum plates integrated under the bindings. The result is a 2.5-times increase in strength against compression damage caused by landing on rails, boxes and rocks. Flex channels work with core profiling on order to achieve the targeted flex performance.
LDC Technology: In Rome's highest end boards, Low density control is used to strategically implement low density woods for drastic weight reduction.
