Pros: Responsive Flex,Smooth Stability,Great Value,Lightweight,Fast Base,Lots of Pop, Cons: Base is fast but not as tough

This is a fast board that can be used anywhere. The twin shape is great in the park and it has a lot of pop. Base is not as solid compared to an extruded, but it is def fast!

Glen C: Great board at discount pricing basically a no brainer Mar 1, 2014
Todd D: K2 has one of the best warranties in the business. I've ridden K2 the past seven years and love the boards. I've had boards snap and they've replaced them. I've had a Fastplant for three years now. The things unbreakable. I am buying this fastplant for the park and using my 157 for the backcountry. Jan 24, 2014

Matt R asked: How does this board do outside of the park? Like could it classify as an all mountain freestyle? Feb 4, 2014

dennis l: I use it primarily outside of Park. I wanted a fast flexible board. That's exactly what you get. I really enjoy the speed and the forgiveness the board offers. The one thing that took me a while to get use to is that you can feel every uneven pay off the snow and ice because the board flexes so much. It's well worth the money for an all around board. I typically ride a151, but I chose a154 because I use it more for mountain runs than Park. Feb 4, 2014

chris p: Yes it could definitely be classed as an all mountain freestyle. I have ridden a lot of K2 boards and this is by far the best of them. You can ride it all over the's killer! Hope you decide to purchase it...I have been riding for 19 years and hands down this is the best board I have purchased! It's got a nice flex to it and an amazing pop. I bought the 157 which is perfect for taking it outside of the park Feb 4, 2014

Dmytro G: I am by no means park guy. I bought this board 2 months ago to go all mountain and I am pretty impressed with it. It's rocker is almost flat, and board is very forgiving at a groomed slopes. You almost have no chance of catching the edge. It goes decently in the powder, too, although I still have to master that kind of a ride.

In short, good all mountain board.

Jin K: The board overall performs well in park and as an all mountain freestyle board according to the flex that was stated it feels a lot more flexible. Due to the bamboo core i stand behind riding this board anywhere and the board can easily handle all the pow events you can throw at it I am completely satisfied with the Fastplant Feb 4, 2014

A shopper asked: I'm 5'10" 145 would the 154 be to big for the park? I'm a beginner Mar 8, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
dennis l: I'm 5ft 6in and weigh 150. So I'd say no. It'd probably be perfect size for you. Most people my size ride 151, but I prefer a slightly larger board for dual purpose. Most people your size and weight ride 154 in the park. Any smaller for your size you may find that you don't have enough edge contact outside the park. It could make it difficult to ride in fresh pow. Just be aware this board has A LOT of flex and is really fast. Hope that helps. Mar 8, 2014

Adam N: I'm 5'6" and weigh 125. I ride the 151 fastplant and i love it in the park! It's an awesome board. I think 154 would be perfect for your height Mar 8, 2014

Dmytro G: I am 6" and I ride 157. Size is just ok for me but I would suggest smth a bit smaller for the park, especially if you are beginner. Mar 9, 2014
