Burton Custom Flying V Snowboard 154
Burton's flagship with a twist! The Custom has been in the Burton Line longer than any other and in 2011 it got a new upgrade! Flying V rocker is a hybrid camber that offers camber under foot and rocker between as well as outside of your feet. The camber under foot offers edge hold and a "spring loaded" pop while the rocker between and outside your feet gives you float in the powder with that loose skatey feel that is really forgiving and fun. The Custom's shape has proven itself year after year and now with Flying V it only get's better!

"Fast and playful"
First off the board rides the way I like. It can feel a little squirrly running high speeds, but I like that, you know it's fast. Surprisingly easy to play on, it almost feels as if you are cheating, The board responds so well...All around great board for all experience levels.
I got this last year around november. I live in so cal so i usually am riding major slush at mountain high. I have also used it in tahoe and let me tell you.....It floats in 3 feet of powder like nothing else. The est system is easy to learn and use. It can also handle some pretty decent park settings. It does scratch easily but its still worth it! GREAT all around board....I wouldn't even bother with the 2012 Custom!
I demoed this board before it came out it was a pow day and loved it so I pre ordered it before the season. Then I won a reverse crew so I rode that before I got my custom in. I just love the reverse crew so much that I rode that most of the season I think I picked up the custom up a few times I just could get comfortable on it... Great in pow fun in the park horrible on ice and groomers... Now I Sony ride either of my board I ride my NUG everywhere
"All Mountain Board"
Love this board - speed, very stable - powder, floats (just set the stance back) - ground tricks, easy buttering - weight, light Overall an awesome board, except for very icy conditions. Highly recommendable
I usually ride a Burton Custom(2009) and Nug(2011). This board is between the two. Good edge hold and great at carving like the Custom and playful like the Nug. It's not as fast as the regular Custom, but still shreds hard! Great do it all board.
"i prefer the regular custom"
This board was a little disappointing to me. It was great and easy to turn in moderate conditions but was very unstable. Personally, I prefer the standard cambered custom
"Best board ever"
I got this board for my birthday and then rode with it in mammoth duriong the huge storm where they recieved 17+ ft and it rode great in the pow, then i went to beaver creek and hit the park and the groomers, there could never be a more perfect all mountain board
