Love it, but not in powder
I've had this board for two years now and it has been amazing. Insane amounts of pop, edge hold is amazing, speed is great, and park riding is awesome. I'm not a jibber so I can't off you much there but I will say that anything from a 180s to 720s are no problem for this board at all. The flex is awesome, I'm a big ground tricks guy and I love to flex this board and butter this thing dang near vertical. Butters, tailblocks, flex in a grab, it can handle it all. The hybrid ampteck freestyle rocker really allows you to throw this board around spinning endlessly on the groomers or carving hard into the pipe. I have ridden quite a few boards, and this board is worth every penny. Now that I've. Talked it up, I do need to say that this board does not like powder. Although yes you can take it back country on powder days, and I do, i really have to load up the back to keep the nose up as she constantly is drowning. I think this is because the nose does not have a lot of bend up and the blunt shape does not help. But once you do get those nose up she floats pretty well and handles pretty well. Lastly switch is a dream on this girl. My pandas always got my back on the mountain, I highly recommend this board to anyone beginner-intermediate.

Great board! Stiff enough to stick over shot landings and enough flex to Ollie onto anything. Board locks on rails with ease. This board will have you progressing in the park in no time. It's also fun for trail riding

My son is 5'6 and 130# (he's 22) Is 150 a good size for him? He's a good boarder...is this a good board for advanced boarders?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the 150 Retox Amptek would be a good size for your son. This board is designed for the intermediate to advanced freestyle rider that is looking for a great park board that also rides great all over mountain. Thank you.
also what size would be best for a 5'10 170lb male?
Sharky on Jan 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Anywhere from a 148 to 152 should be good if they have any of those sizes available
Would there be hang on this board with a size 9.5 boot?
Dilllry199 on Nov 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hello, with a 9.5 you should have no problem with toe or heel drag on the Retox. The waist widths range from 24.8 to 25.4 depending on the size. Thank you.
what is the width?
Sharky on Jan 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 150cm length has a 25 waist and the 153cm length has a 25.2 length.
About to learn how to snowboard , would this be a good board to begin with and also advance in skill with?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Rossignol Retox Amptek Snowboard is a good "all mountain" snowboard that can be used by beginners to learn the ins and out of there basics and for the more advance riders, be able to take into the park and down more advanced runs. The Rossignol Retox Amptek is a good all around board that is perfect for beginners as well as the avid shredder. Happy shreddin'.
Will there be a restock?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't count on it. Sorry.
What would fit 5.8foot high and 134.5lb (female) ?
Ellen R on Sep 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Good Day Ellen,
There are a lot of variables here. Each company and even specific boards can vary a little. Your own preference, skill level, and style will be important too. Generally you will want to look at a board 145cm to 154cm length. For your height, I would go toward the longer end. For this Rossignol Retox you would be best with the 153... unless you are going to be spending loads of time in the park... then I would go with the 150cm.
I wear a boot size 10.5 would my heal or toe drag on this 156cm board?
A shopper on Jan 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 156cm Rossignol Retox Amptek Snowboard has a progressively wider waist width of 25.4cm. You're size 10.5 boots will be good to go!
would a sixe 11.5 fit on this board?
Sharky on Jan 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Tim,

THe size 11.5 boots will be a little too wide for the Rossignol Retox Amptek unless boots with Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology are used. You might want to check out the Rossignol Trickstick CYT Amptek Midwide Snowboard - It's a great freestyle board that has a waist width that will accommodate you foot size.
