THIS BOARD IS BAD@$$
I really wanted to get a GNU but couldn't afford it at the time so I bought this mainly because of the color, design, twin shape, and flexibility and this board is just AWESOME! It can definitely take a beating, the extruded bases help the board go faster I think (but it sure makes the board look that much better) which surprised me because I got a 153 mm thinking it was too small and I'm 5'11. The board is VERY forgiving if you mess up a landing because of how flexible it is and is a VERY playful board. Stable, soft, looks good, LOVE carving with it! If you want a cheap board to start with this is it!

Great First Board...I Believe
Bought as first personal snowboard after riding only 3 times and getting hooked on the sport.

Pros:
-More flexible than other beginner boards which is great for more man-handling of the board
-Better than rentals for sure
-Don't catch tips/sides since the ends are more raised
-Very easy to maneuver and control
-2x4 pattern is great for really personalizing stance

Cons:
-Could be more flexible :)

What does it mean when the mounting pattern is 2x4?
A shopper on Sep 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Excellent question:
Most snowboards use a 4-hole style mounting system (4 screws). 2x4 and 4x4 are versions of that. The 2x4 will have a shorter distance between holes giving you more mounting options than a 4x4.... though they are compatible to each other. Guff will explain it better than me: http://www.the-house.com/portal/snowboard-binding-hole-patterns/ that will help you!!
In the video he says it's very very dense. What does he mean from that? Also, what are some of the benefits that this board has compared to others?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Sapient Trust Snowboard has a UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Extruded Base, which means that the base is nonporous and is dense.
