  • "best board."

Pros: extremely flexible, edges stay tuned., take it in the park Cons: edges stay tuned (bad for park),

I love this. I have had it for two years and I've never tuned it. I ride all over. I instruct on a high level. It's the best board. get it in a smaller size though, and you'll be able to play with it and such.

  • "2009 Rome Vinyl"

Pros: Great to learn/progress on, Good price, Cons: Not very good in deep powder, Graphics a bit blah,

I bought the 2009 Rome Vinyl in order to progress my skills. I started out with a very low end board which sucked, then went completely the opposite direction and bought a very high end board that was a bit too much to handle for a newbie. The Vinyl came somewhere in the middle and has been the board I have learned most on and had the most fun on. If you're a beginner or an intermediate rider looking for a board to progress with, then the Vinyl is an excellent option. It's flexible but not noodly, carves nicely, and does very well on groomers (and even on icy patches). I did try it out in 2ft of fresh powder and wasn't particularly impressed with the performance... though this might have more the fault of my riding than the board. I would recommend this board to anyone looking for something that's a bit more than the typical beginner boards. A typical beginner board is something that you will outgrow fast... the Vinyl is a board that you'll want to keep.
