Dave McCaul here talking about definitely one of my favorite snowboards in the shop. We have got the
Nitro Subzero snowboard. What you're looking on this one is true-twin with a lot of technology. It is definitely going to be a great all-terrain freestyle snowboard. It's going to crush it in the park but it's got the flex to keep up on the rest of the hill too.
Starting off with the camber. They have their camber in between the snowboard bindings and then outwards towards the end it moves to a camber construction, they call Gullwing because of the shape of it. It's going to give you kind of the best of both worlds. You still got good edge grip, good pop from your contact points. But if you're going through uneven terrain, if you're pressing on a box or a rail or you are using it in powder, it definitely is going to be better than a lot of those other twins out there that have the traditional camber construction to them.
From there, it also will have a slight base bevel, meaning that the base is rounded like so. It's exaggerated right by the foot positions and what this is going to do, say you're rolling through like a double-kink or something, when you're going through it front, it's just going to allow to pop through and not catch on the kink. It is a really, really cool technology with a little more shaping on this snowboard than probably 98% of the snowboards I have in the shop.
From there, you got their Combat Core in the middle here. It's a wood core that has been specifically built to receive abuse from like icy hardpack landings, gaps the metal, snowboard will really do it all. You have two year warranty on this one. You can definitely rock in one year more than most of the other companies out there. You have got a really nice hi-def base to this one. It's got a lot of pop. It's going to be an extruded base on this one. It is really easy to take care of. You don't have to wax it quite as much.
Like I said, this snowboard is just chalked with features. Sidewall construction, biax glass, I mean the usual suspects you'd see in like a twin snowboard like this. But just with a Nitro durability and all the tech that they have. Beefier your edge too, I mean crap and keep going on this thing for like hours. So, definitely one of my better sellers on the phones for sure:
Nitro Subzero snowboard.
