Hello. I'm Brian with K2. We're going to take a look at the women specific K2 Vavavoom Snowboard. This is a softer, park specific, freestyle snowboard. It's a true twin tip for going regular or fakey. And it's more designed for your terrain parks, rail gardens.
And the reason for that is, one, it's a nice soft snowboard. It has a lot of flex. It's very forgiving. Locks onto the rails just with the softness, especially in between the snowboard bindings. Also, on this particular snowboard, you do size it five centimeters shorter. So you get the same stability of the base of that longer snowboard, but the overall length is short, so it's going to spin faster.
For the side cut that we put on here, it's our Hyper Progressive side cut. It's a little mellower at the tips and tails. It gets a little deeper toward the center of the snowboard and mellows out on the other side. Being that it's a little mellower, on the tip and tails, makes it roll in and out of turns really nice and easy. With the harder you turn it, the deeper the side cut. So basically, the harder you turn, the harder it turns for you.
It also has a base material for the top sheet, giving it a kind of unique look, but then it also, that will take out the high speed vibration so you can have that soft snowboard that works better at higher speeds. And that's the K2 Vavavoom snowboard. Park specific.
Although the K2 Vavavoom Snowboard is designed to be a freestyle specific board it will be great for learning to ride because of it's very soft flex for easy maneuverability and Jib Tech profile combined with a 3° Edge Bevel that will reduce the chance of catching an edge.
Overall, it'll be great.
