I want to buy this Burton Custom X board since I like softboot carving. I am thinking about putting the Burton Diode bindings on it. You think this would be the best binding option? Or do you suggest a different Burton binding for that purpose?
Tim S on Oct 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Considering any stiff dependable binding would be a good start. The Diode or Diode EST would make perfect sense or even Burtons new X-Base bindings. I ride Burton Cartel LTD late release from last years collection on mine. A three way build from a Cartel base, Stay Calm high back, and Genises straps. I would highly suggest this perfect match on a Custom X if you should be so lucky to find a pair.
What's the difference between the 2015 and 2016 models?
A shopper on Sep 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The effective edge is different on the 152cm, 156cm, and 158cm.
Ok so I'm a 15 year old and I have been snowboarding my whole life. My last board was a burton custom. Do you think it's a good choice to move up to this?
Evan F on Sep 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It depends. The Burton Custom X is a great all mountain freestyle board - it's super fast, really responsive, and kind of difficult to press/butter because it's stiff.

The regular Burton Custom is more user friendly, but the Burton Custom X is pretty rad if you like riding at a million miles and hour.
Hi there,
I have thirty two tm boots size 11us. Will I be ok on a 156 for toe and heel drag or do I need to go wide?
A shopper on Nov 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: From what I've been told, anything 10 1/2 us. and over is fair game to go wide. From what I read in Transworlds Gear Guid 2016 about this years Thirty Two tm."Profile may put big-footers in the toe/heel drag danger zone". Looking at all of that then looking at my 158 - I would start with the wide.
HI there
I am a new Skateboarder but i am a fairly good skier, so am i able to get the Burton Custom X Snowboard 2016 as my first bored and to get into pro on skating?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello. I'm guessing you mean snowboard when you say skateboard. As far as the Custom X goes - it is more of an intermediate-advanced level board. The Burton Custom is a great board for beginners - http://www.the-house.com/9848btcust16zz-burton-snowboards.html
My husband just bought me this board for Christmas and I am worried that it might be too much board? I am 5'6 and 170# and been riding for 20+ yrs. My last board is a 96 Burton Custom woman's board and I love it, but it is getting quite worn out. Also I have new Rome Tegrea bindings and not sure how they will work. Please advise, we are going on a huge snowboard trip in 2 weeks and I really want to have things right. Thanks, Sabrina

BEST ANSWER: You could definitely ride the Burton Custom X Snowboard, but the women's specific version of it, the Feelgood, may be a better option. Check it out HERE: http://www.the-house.com/9844btfeelgw16zz-burton-snowboards.html
