what model year is this board?
A shopper on Oct 26, 2015
This is the 2015 model Burton Custom X Snowboard. Here is the 2016 version too:
Is the 2015 Burton Custom X a good board for an advanced female, whose last board is the 1996 Custom woman's board?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You could ride the Burton Custom X Snowboard, but it might be a better idea to ride the women's specific version of it; the Burton Feelgood. The Feelgood is the board that Kelly Clark and Chloe Kim rip. Check it out HERE:
Been looking at this board for awhile now. I have a burton joystick and need more camber for all mountain conditions. I'm 5'8" 145lbs boot size 10 or 11. Any advice? What size board and what can I expect. My joystick was very unstable in powder and steep terrain.
Michael M on Nov 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Michael (thank you other Michael). I would check out the 156cm. If you have size 11 boots, maybe look at upgrading to a wide board. In the Custom X, you're gonna get a board that can ride all mountain with ease. It will handle powder like a dream, as well as park riding.
Why is 164cm marked as "Wide"? What size of feet is it for?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Wide board is for larger boots, size around the US 12+ range, perhaps 11's with an unusually large forefoot area. New construction and sidewall tapering allows you to take advantage of a slimmer, more nimble board even if wearing large boots. As with most equipment, the choice will depend on how and what you choose to ride most frequently. On groomed surfaces, (park, on piste etc.), a size 12 boot will not affect performance, but if you move to deeper snow, more specifically wet and deep snow, then you might begin to feel some issue with toe drag compromising predictability of the board as the snow dynamic changes. At this length, (164cm), the parabolic profile enjoyed on the smaller (156), boards is regained and renders the board just larger in every dimension, with all length:width ratios nearly the same and so performance is not compromised.

We are happy to ship anywhere in Australia... however we are unable to ship Burton's products internationally. I apologize. Look here to see what we can ship to you: . For Burton items, you will need to find a distributor within Australia.
Is this board compatible with Flow NX2-RS bindings? If not, are there adaptor plates available for would that change the riding characteristics of this board?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2014

The Burton Custom X Snowboard 2015 uses the unique Channel System for mounting, but the Flow NX2 family of bindings will be compatible to it (and any other mounting system according to Flow).
