Austrian components define this board, including a hardwood poplar and birch full wood core wrapped and reinforced with triaxial fiberglass and UV curtain coated for stability and a long life. The wood/glass combination deliver the expected stability and smooth ride of a wood board, and also deliver a fiberglass board's stiffness for responsive handling and snappy motion. The bottom deck is extruded 4400 with a die cut base for toughness and durability - sometimes, rocks leap out in front of you and when they do, you want your board to ride through it.
