Rachel asked: what size board do I get. One chart is based off of weight or height and another is based off of weight and freeride or freestyle. I am new to snowboarding, 5'5", 160LBS, 7 1/2 shoe. I think I will not be doing tricks just down hill. can you help with board size? Nov 23, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hi Rachel,

For the most part you fit within the weight range of most 149cm-155cm snowboards. I shoot for a size in between there.
