Staff Review
Dave here at The House, talking about one of the best line in women’s snowboard we have got in the shop, the K2 Luna snowboard. Â The Luna has been a best seller for them for many years, for good reasons. Great value at the prices. First off, we are looking at a really cool top sheet, you can actually see the fiberglass weave through the clear top sheet, it is has got some nice metallic inlays. Â K2 does actually give a portion of the proceeds from this snowboard to breast cancer research which is an other cool thing about it. Other than that, you have got the HybridTech construction, starts out as a cap at the noes and tail cap and runs in two sidewalk through the center of the snowboard, makes the snowboards more lighter and more torsionally forgiving, but also give the edge hold on icy hard pack terrain. The Luna snowboard does have a progressive side cut, means that they are going to blend three different radiuses together, going to give you really easy turn initiation, but the more power you feed to the next turn. It has also got a fake diamond stamp pad on the top too, pretty clutch can forget that. Base is die cut, colors are cut out inlaid on each other, saves weight versus the inking process and this is going to be sintered base which is going to be pretty fast and quite right in about 3 to 6 times depending on the conditions you are riding. The speed path is definitely there for sure. Other than that, like I said it is really solid snowboard with good price, and you can keep these things on the shelf. The K2 Luna snowboard.
