Description: Head True Snowboard

The Head True Snowboard provides a stable, responsive ride that is perfect for riders looking to make the jump from beginner to intermediate. The directional twin shape and radial sidecut give this board stability and control in technical terrain that won't slip out when you're carving, and with a slightly setback stance, you'll stay on your back foot to float on top of deep snow. In a traditional camber profile, with a poplar core, the True Snowboard has plenty of pop to go big off jumps in the park and cushion hard landings.

Key Features of Head True Snowboard:
  • Style: Twin Directional
  • Skill: Rookie
  • Camber: Camba
  • Extruded Base
  • Poplar Core

X-mas present for my fiance. I love snowboarding and took him for the 1st time last year. He enjoyed it, so I'm hopeful that this is something we can do together. I believe having his own board will make the experience more enjoyable and this will be a good board for a newbie.

What would be a good fit (for a persons height 178cm)?
A shopper on Jan 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If i am correct that is about 5.8ft. Depending on your weight and where you like to ride, what resorts you ride - you could go with a 151, 154 or 157. The shorter the board the easier it is to turn and ride in the park. The longer the board the more stable at higher speeds and offers better flotation in the powder. If you are riding the East Coast or Mid-West people usually ride a little shorter boards. If you are riding out west like Snowbird or Jackson Hole people usually like to ride longer boards.
how do I know what bindings to get for this board? I've only had one snowboard and I bought it off a girl ready to ride, so I don't know much about boards. I want to buy this for my boyfriend for Christmas. i'm guessing it doesn't come w bindings
maria c on Dec 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You can pretty much get any bindings, just get them to fit your boot size. I also looked at the snowboard/binding packages that the website offers and chose from those bindings. Also, the customer service is awesome so you can always call them and they'll make suggestions for you.
Will this board be good for tail presses, ollies, boxes, jumps, and rails?
Derek0614 on Feb 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is a camber board with a medium flex. The flex is perfect for what you want to do. Camber provides you with plenty of snap and pop for tail presses and ollies. It will hold an edge perfectly on big jumps and kickers. It is great for the park and pipe if you are an intermediate to advanced rider. good luck
