I'm used to riding a Burton V-Rocker (rental) and am wanting to get my own board. I am torn between the Burton Social and this GNU. Any suggestions for a beginner/intermediate level rider?

Best Answer: I purchased the Gnu Board last season and couldn't be happier with my choice! I am more of an intermediate+ rider and the banana technology in the genu boards are hard to beat. Love love love it! My husband has had a gnu board for years and he is more of a pro rider so had riden on alot of boards and he loves it, so that was what helped me choose to go with gnu myself. I personally haven't road on a burton board which I'm sure are great as well but after owning this Gnu board I would have a hard time going back to a board without banana tech as the ride is just so much nicer and way less rattle/bounce.

is this board good for park riding?

Best Answer: I am getting this board for my girlfriend and just want to give some insight on GNU. First ofF, all the good things you see in reviews about GNU are true. I used to ride a Forum custom board which I loved, along with several other boards in the past. I just purchased my GNU Street Series last year and it is amazing! The best board I have ever owned hands down. Been riding for 19 years and the magni traction is a revolutionary design improvement! I love the flex and the innovative edge design. I literally had to learn NOT to over correct as to avoid snagging edges. I can ride flat and strait and nothing has cought my edge hard enough to make me bail yet. I am a huge advocate of the GNU company. I have the pleasure of living in the state that they are manufactured and they make a quality product and you can see it in the craftsmanship.
