Description: Burton Super Hero Blem Snowboard

Unmarked obstacles exist. It's no secret, so why live your life in fear? Find them then destroy them with the 2013 Super Hero snowboard and its less-is-more mentality. Bending the rules on board length, its highly maneuverable design packs the Hero's punch in a smaller profile, letting you downsize up to 5cm from what you normally ride. The Flat Top blends float and control, ensuring a stable attack on whatever obstacles get in your way.

This board has some minor cosmetic defects-nothing that affects the performance

Matthew G: Blems from Burton are very minimal cosmetic flaws. It has nothing to do with the structural quality at all, purely cosmetic and so small that 95% of the time you cant see any blemish. Most of the time it is a very tiny air bubble in the topsheet or the graphic may be a half an inch to the left, etc. Oct 29, 2013

Nick P asked: Hi, I'm 5'5, 130lbs. Should I get the 145 or 148. I freeride mostly but sometimes go on park. Also, what's the difference between the Super Hero and the Super Hero Blem? Thanks. Oct 5, 2013

Matt GStaff: The Burton Super Hero is part of the Nug Reduction line, it means that you can downsize the board 4cm to 5cm. If you're looking into a 145cm BUrton Super Hero, it means that it'll ride like a 149cm/150cm board.

Even though you mostly freeride, I'd suggest getting the 145cm Burton Super Hero Snowboard.

Blem is cosmetic defect in the board - off center graphic, color slightly off...it does not change the physical properties of the board.

Tucker C: A "blem" or blemish board is a certain category of snowboard that has some cosmetic defects. However the performance of the board is never hindered because of this and all the features and waranty are the same. In fact when comparing a non blem to a blem board, the difference is only noticeable by a trained eye. Blems are a great way to save money on a new board, without sacrificing any of the performance. Christopher W: I am 170cm (5'7") and about 160-165lbs. Which would be the best size for me 151 or 154? I have a 155 and was thinking about getting a smaller board for the park and freestyle riding on the mountain. Mainly board on the east coast with an occasional trip to mid west. Sep 12, 2013

Matt GStaff: You fit within both weight ranges of the 151cm and 154cm Burton Super Hero. If you have size 11 boots or larger go with the 154cm, but if have size 10.5 or smaller boots go with the 151cm. Sep 25, 2013

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: You fit within both weight ranges of the Burton Super Hero 151 and 154, but you fit right in the middle of the 154 and on the high side of the 151. I'd choose the Burton Super Hero 154. Aug 21, 2013
