Matt GStaff: You fit within both weight ranges of the 151cm and 154cm Burton Super Hero Snowboard. If you have size 11 boot choose the 154cm Super Hero Wide, it has a waist width that's 3mm wider than the 151cm Aug 23, 2013

Timmy Gray asked: I'm buying a 2013 burton super hero wide. Im not sure if i should get the 151 wide or the 154 wide. im 5 foot 11 an weigh about 165 an wear a size 11 boot. im not too iffy about the length its's the width that worries me. i would rather get a 151 because i was a sponsered skateboarder in florida but recently moved to WV an im used to a smaller board on my feet. Im an intermediate snowboarder iv been boarding about 10 times an i enjoy the park but also like hitting random stuff on trails to. With the 151 i was afraid if id toe drag too much due to having a size 11 boot. Could you help me out with an input? Also should i get medium est bindings or large with an 11 boot? Aug 4, 2013

Matt GStaff: The Burton Super Hero Wide Snowboard features Nug Raduction technology which enables you to ride the board 10cm shorter than normal, you'll be okay riding the 151cm.

I wear size 11 boots and only ride boards that are 258mm or wider. The 151cm Super Hero has a 261mm waist width, and epending on what boots you ride the 261mm should be rock solid.

As for binding, that could get a little tricky. If you have a really bulky style of boot, you might be better off going with a size large, but if however you have a slim designed boot you'd be okay riding a size medium binding.

My size 11 Burton SLX boots (super slim) fit snug in my size medium Burton Cartels, it's a combo that I really like. I tried the size large Cartels with size 11 SLX boots, it fit good, but I really prefer the snug fit of the medium.

Awesome questions.

Timmy Gray: Ok thanks for the info! I got the board an I just have a few other questions about it. I got the 151 wide an on the back of the board where it says "Burton" going straight down an on the "N" theirs a little rectangle that has a 5 digit code in it an its on the board its not a sticker or anything. I'm just curious as to what this is because i know its not the serial number because that's on the top sheet. Also i'm familiar with the squeezebox technology but when i look down the sides from the nose of the board it looks like it is wavy even along the edges kinda like banana traction like how the gnu's have it. I didn't know the squeeze box was like that i thought it was just more wavier on the top sheet like how the review videos show it. Aug 12, 2013
