Silky smooth even at high speeds
Burton got it right with the Jeremy. It's a very fun board for all mountain riding but also flexible and forgiving enough to goof off on. I've used my Jeremy for over 2 seasons and I absolutely love it. It holds edges very well and I feel very confident riding with it. It takes jumps very well and handles speeds very comfortably. +1 for the Jeremy

2008 JJ 151 Fantastic
I bought the 2008 JJ in 151. This board does it all. I ride everything, but mostly off trail, and this board has handle the abuse well. I ride real hard at least a dozen days a year and this has been a tank. Super fun ride

Super smooth all-around board
I demo'd the 08 board and loved it, so I got the 09 version and it did not disappoint. It handled excellent in all jumps and conditions and easily transitioned to the park for some rail and box action. Truely great work by Burton and JJ

good all mountain
This is a solid board. I've put a couple of years on it and it is great for charging down a hill. It doesn't get wobbly at all. The only thing that slows me down is lack of courage when the conditions get icy. I haven't had too much luck with the board gripping the ice. Perhaps that is my lack of skill.

Overall it is a great board. I just wish it was a little softer to allow for buttering.

Would this still be a good snowboard for someone who's a beginner but planning to snowboard many times a year?
Ivan R. on Dec 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Hello Ivan,

The Burton Jeremy Jones Snowboard is best used by Intermediate to Advanced level riders as the Specs Recommended Use indicates. Could it be used by a beginner? Absolutely.

I could suggest a few boards if you tell me your weight and budget.
