It promised a low learning curve, that was true. It road well but the issue I had was at high speeds the sides would stick. I tried two different types of wax with no real results.

i wear size 12 boot. Would this board be wide enough?
Matt G on Nov 2, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Matt,
Be careful here..... this board is narrow. Generally I suggest that riders with size 11+ boots ride boards that have a waist width of 25.8cm or wider. Unless you ride with your feet at a severe V you will have some over-hang.

Why can't this board be shipped to the Netherlands?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2015
Best Answer: Hey,
That is because K2 will not allow us (or any other American retailer) to ship their products internationally. K2 wants you to find this board locally.

This board says that it's a rocker but I've looked at some reviews that say it's flat in between the bindings so is it really considered a rocker in that case?
Davey on Nov 20, 2015
Best Answer: Hey,

This board does have rocker as well as being flat near the bindings. That flatness you are referring to helps the board be a bit more predictable to give you better control.

Looking to get a new deck for a freestyle, all mountain board..torn between the k2 raygun & ride dh...I have a 153 rossignol taipan for more of,a free ride. Which do u recommend k2 or ride ?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2015
Best Answer: Both are great boards and you can't go wrong with either. The K2 Raygun will be much more surfy and the Ride DH will be much more aggressive.

It all comes down to what feel you want to the board to have.

The sidecut says Radial but the shape says Twin Hyper Aggressive. Is the sidecut truly radial or progressive?
chris c on Oct 14, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Chris,

This K2 Raygun Snowboard's sidecut is Twin Hyper Progressive (THP) but set on a Radial outline. THP has a larger radius underneath and in between the feet with two smaller radiuses one set on the nose and the other on the tail. There are three sidecuts radiuses set on one radial outline.

It's kind of confusing. Overall the Raygun will ride the same regular as it will switch.
