what is the diffrence between a stiff snow board and a soft snow board, besides the fact that one is stiff and one is soft?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2013
Best Answer: On the 1-10 Flex scale stiff boards are typically rated between 6.5-10 (though you will rarely, if ever find a board rated 9 or 10, essentially stating that it's "stiff as a board"). These stiff boards are made for all-mountain free-riders who love to carve and/or bomb the mountain, as well as riders who hit the half-pipe. Overall: stiff board = more responsiveness and better stability at high speeds.

Soft snowboards are almost the opposite: with a flex rating between 2 and 4, soft boards have tons of torsional flex. These boards are made for your park riders; guys (and gals) who love to jib, press, and butter all over the place. Soft boards are ideal for urban snowboarders as well who often take a beating on stairs, concrete, pavement, hand rails, retaining walls, etc. The soft snowboards allow for lots of maneuverability and have incredible amounts of give and forgiveness.

Hope this helps

It says it uses the 2x4 mounting pattern, does this work with 4x4 bindings?
Steven B on Mar 8, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, the 2x4 system works with the 4x4, it just has twice as many stance width options compared to the standard 4x4. Micro adjustments for all! Thanks!

I see you have a 2013 Arbor Westmark 153 snowboard but it states it's on backorder I was just curious if it was possibly a mistake because its a 2013 board or maybe Arbor had some extras that you just ordered?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2013
Best Answer: The Arbor Westmark Snowboard is currently on backorder and is a 2013. We picked up a few extras from Arbor and that is why they are on backorder.
