Description: Rome ButterKnife Snowboard 149

The Rome ButterKnife Snowboard is ready for the entry level and intermediate rider to get a good feel of the snow and explore what snowboarding is all about. The true twin shape lets you ride tip to tail or tail to tip without any issues so you never have to worry about getting twisted up or turned around. The ButterKnife features NoHang-Ups rocker that has a flat-camber diamond under foot and then has 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker at the tip and tails. The flat-camber helps with generating power for big ollies and control while the 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker allows for easy pressing. Slide over the slopes smooth like butter with the ButterKnife board!

Key Features of the Rome ButterKnife Snowboard:
  • ButterOut Transition Zones: By doubling the length of the transition zone from 6cm to 12cm, we elongate the section of edge at the contact point to create a buttery, fun feel from edge to edge. Add the NoHang-Ups camber and your loose-happy shred level has been cranked up a few.
  • HotRod Technology: Glass Single Barrel A 4mm glass HotRod inserted in the core for adding more pop into your ollies and nollies. Milled into the center of the board from the inserts to the center of the contact points, nothing can deliver more explosions from under your feet to where you load ollies and nollies.
  • QuickRip Sidecut
  • Skatecore Profiling
  • True Twin
  • Flex: Playful
  • NoHang-Ups Rocker: A flat-camber Diamond under foot ends 20 mm before the end of the running length. Outside of the Diamond, the nose and tail feature 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker. The flat-camber Diamond gives control and ollie pop. The 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker gives easy pressing and greasy good times.
  • Glass Impact Plates
  • Pop Core Matrix
  • StraightBiax Laminate

I just opened it up slapped my bindings on and was playing around with. I noticed after on each side of the tail it has bumps as I would call it definitely noticeable was wondering if it comes like that?

Best Answer: That's a good question. I just checked out all of the other Rome Butterknife Snowboards and didn't see and "bumps". What shape and size are they in? Are they on the base or topsheet? You could reach out to our warranty department (Karl at 1-800-992-7245. He oversees things of this nature.
