Pretty great for the price
Good first board. I can not compare to other brands for the price, or the other M3 boards, but I was happy starting out with this. I upgraded this year to a Capita, but I thought the Frosty was great to start out on

How good is this bored for a beginner?

BEST ANSWER: The board is between beginner and intermediate. Perfect for learning toe edge and heel edge. Has more balance than an average sport chalet board for the price. Great at turns, picks up speed pretty well so pay attention! This is a "delicate" board so you will want to wax and clean every time. Reason why I say every time is because the face of the board starts to look dull and has that old used up look if you've been on the snow all day nonstop, but after it looks good a new. Don't fall for the scented wax they're unnecessary and don't last long. I recommend a sharpening kit if you board more than twice a week all day. For beginners it's great because the Board is a lot lighter than usual. So if you don't know how to get up a lighter board will make it easier especially when it comes to emergency maneuvers. I recommend a stomp pad for any level snowboarder because they help keep your balance on and off the lift. Overal you get exactly what you paid for and maybe even a little more if you've never been on snow. Great Board, nice and sparkly, worth the price, awesome buying experience, Thxs.
