Anthony K: Yes the bottom of the board is the same as what is pictured, and it looks pretty sick. There is another model, but I didn't go that route.

TomKAZ asked: I'm considering this board for my son. He's 18 - 6'-2" and very athletic. He's been boarding for 10 years, but from Arizona we only go 5-6 days/ year. He's looking for a board that will handle the whole mountain, but help him move into the park for jumps and hits. He'll probably be in Colorado for college, so I want to get him a board that will last 4-5 years. Would you recommend this board? Dec 1, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hi Tom,

The K2 Parkstar Snowboard is designed for freestyle riding; it have a twin shape, center stance, and a twin flex. Can in be ridden all over the mountain with a freestyle influence? Absolutely.

If your son has size 11+ boots I'd suggest getting the wide version, but if he has size 10 boots or smaller he'd be best riding the regualr width version that you can view HERE:

Randy: I'm an athletic 6ft 215lb and just used this board for the first time this weekend. It is great all over the mountain! I wanted something freestyle oriented but sturdy enough for my weight, and k2 delivered. Its very flexible without being flimsy. And it handled the fresh snow very well. No complaints at all. Anthony K: I'm 6'3" and about 195 - I got this board to move into more park & freestyle stuff. I wear a size 12 boot and went with the Wide Version. I strapped in the first time this weekend and everything feels good. Hit "Buy" Dec 16, 2013

Trevor H: did you go with the 157cm or the 160cm, I'm 6'1 195, and I'm not sure which size to go with. I have a 157cm wide board now but I'm not sure whether which one to get. Dec 20, 2013

TomKAZ: Hey Trevor:

I went with the 160 cm wide. My son is 6'-2" and 185 lbs. I can't tell you what his reaction is yet, as this is a Christmas Gift - but I will get back to you after our first ride! Dec 20, 2013
TomKAZ: Thanks, Randy! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one. Should make a good Christmas gift for my son. Can't wait to hit the pow this season! Dec 9, 2013

Jake C asked: Will the burton freestyle bindings work with this board? Dec 8, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
brett c: Yeah but this board should be better fit with some missions or stilletos. A much stiffer more quality binding would go much better with this board. I got it with somr flux ds bindngs and the house doesnt carry flux anymore why??? I have no idea!! But any pair of flux bindings wpuld be better than any other binding period. Dec 8, 2013

If you do have this color option I would totally purchase it through you guys, thanks? Feb 9, 2014
