Description: Arbor Zygote Twin Snowboard

The Zygote Twin is a non-symmetrical twin, a fusion of true-twin on-snow geometry with distinct tip and tail outlines that pay homage to the shaping and art traditions of early skate and snow design. While dissimilar in shape, the tip and tail share identical widths, heights and lengths, creating a symmetrical twin ride designed for true-cambered, freestyle snowboarding.

Can't wait
I ordered this in the middle of July, and was bummed that the backorder was pushed back from September 1st. I'm a snowboard instructor in the winter, and I'll be spending a lot of my free time free riding. I am stoked for this beauty to arrive!

Awesome Board
This board kill everything. Its advertised here as an all-mountain board, while Arbor themselves call it a park board. Now I see why. It pretty much handles anything you throw at it, and you will have incredible control. The grip tech allows you to turn on a dime, and it handles well in ice. New York gets a lot of icy conditions and I have full confidence riding on ice with this board. I love the old school look too; everyone who looks at it is immediately drawn to it. I would definitely recommend this board to a friend.

Amazing ride, watch your speed
Love this board so much. took it out this season and its the best board ive ever had. only reason im giving it 4 and not 5 is because at high speeds it is very shaky. if youre inexperienced and/or not good at higher speeds, youll easily lose control of it. otherwise its an amazing ride. super flexy, super poppy, super durable.

is this board wide enough for a size 12 boot?? cuz I don't want a lot off heel edge or toe drag but do not want a wide board
A shopper on Mar 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depends. It runs about average... so if you normally ride regular boards, and the overhang doesn't bother you, then you'll be alright. It might be just like an inch of overhang.

But if you haven't ridden a regular board, you might want to consider going with a wide version.
Does it butter??
Thowdown518 on Aug 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Like a hot knife the Arbor Zygote Twin Snowboard butters everything that's on your plate.
Which should I buy, the arbor zygote or the Jones mountain twin?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It depends on what type of riding you will do the most.

If you riding mostly in the park get the Zygote, but if you're mostly freeriding get the Mountain Twin.
if you had to choose between the arbor zygote or draft for park riding which would you choose?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That's a tough question, both are great boards. The Arbor Zygote, as unique as it may look, is a little more well rounded. The Draft is an awesome board, it's soft for smooth pressing.
