Description: Rossignol Rocknrolla Amptek Snowboard

Because freestyle, all-mountain riding is basically the only kind of snowboarding you're into these days, get yourself hooked up with the Rossignol Rocknrolla AmpTek Snowboard for men, a board that's pretty much into the exact same things you are — all-mountain shredding, all winter long. Maybe it's your second season out there, or perhaps it's your first and you've simply progressed beyond the board you started on. Either way, this men's snowboard has what you need to remain on your trajectory: AmpTek Auto Turn camber, which combines a slight camber between the inserts with an upturned tip and tail rocker, as well as Jib Roller to keep you bumping through the trees and over all the natural jibs this snow-covered earth has to offer.

  • Key Features of the Rossignol Rocknrolla AmpTek Snowboard:
  • AmpTek Auto Turn Rocker

  • RadCut Sidecut
  • Wood 6420 Core
  • 4400 Extruded Base

Fun Buttering Board
155lbs at 5'9" & a size 10 boot. I bought the 148cm, looking for the smallest board I could match up to ride & this was a perfect match. This board is super fun & butters with little effort. I will buy the 152cm this season to get the length back, but the 148cm helped me get rid of some bad habits. I ride Libtech & GNU 153cm to 156cm but love my Rossignol just as much. Took it down a groomed double black diamond used during the 'Birds of Prey' races & it grabbed the mountain well. The raised edges makes the ride easy if you worry about catching your edges on boxes, rails, 360s, & butters; but it takes getting use to on the catwalks. THIS BOARD IS FUN, FUN, FUN!

Good board, great deal for the money.
This board is failry light and surfy. The raised edges allow for a loose feel but once the edge sets it drives in and out of turns hard allowing for armpit deep turns and quick reaction from edge to edge. When ridden aggressively it rides like a longer stiffer board. The mixed zones of rocker/camber allow for lots of play and flex while the raised edge design lets you spin and roll catch free. Overall its a fun board that can be ridden all over the mountain, it si not a one trick pony.

my son is 110 lbs ,and an advanced rider would this board work for him?
A shopper on Oct 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: this is a buttery board great in the park. Any Exp. level rider can ride this board.
Is this a good board for a 5"10" 180 size10rider?
A shopper on Dec 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Rossignol suggests that this board is too light for you. Look more in the 160cm range board. Your size 10 shoes would be fine though.
My daughter is 5'6", about 120-125lbs. She has big feet (women's 10-11), so I think she needs a men's board for the waist width. She is intermediate and rides east coast (PA) mostly non-park. Thoughts on this board for her?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Eric! This is a sick board (in a good way). Although it says that it is a Freestyle/All-Mountain board, it can be much more than that. It is made with Amp-Tek Auto Turn Rocker, which is an awesome feature that Rossignol describes like this, "AmpTek Auto-Turn combines slight camber between the inserts for stability and edge grip, with higher tip and tail rocker, providing incredible ease-of-use, smooth full-length grip and no-catch edge control." It'll rip in most terrain out there.

For her size, the 152cm model would be a perfect fit. It has a waist width of 25.2cm which will accommodate her boot size, as well as the rest of her dimensions, perfectly.
Hi, I'm 5'-7", 160lbs, size 11 boot. Not a beginner, but looking for something a little more flexible than my 155cm mid-wide. Would this be a good board for general use?
Johnny on Jan 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'7 145lbs, size 10 boot and with the 148cm Rocknrolla I couldn't be more pleased! The rockered zones are beautiful for nice presses on boxes while the camber still let's it have a nice pop coming off of a jump. It's a little bit washy if you come down from a jump too much on your nose or tail but if you can snap your weight to the right place quickly that won't be a problem. (You might want to go with the 152cm considering you're 160 lbs) Overall it is a very forgiving, playful board.
I'm 5'9" 175lbs size 10 boot. Will I be okay with the 152?
A shopper on Feb 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm the same weight and height but with a 12 boot. 152 works perfectly for me.
Is this a good board for beginners? I've had two lessons and I'm working on linking turns now.

Also I'm a 5'8.5" about 160 and a size 10.5/11 women's boot. Which size board should I get?
R G on Nov 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello R G, The Rocknrolla is designed as a park board, but with the Amptek Auto Turn camber/rocker profile and roller technology it would make a good beginner board as well. Either size would would work for you, the 148 would be more park focused. Thank you.
Is this board good for beginners?
Sam F on Feb 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: With the Jib roller edge the board is almost catch free which makes it friendly for beginners. At the same time that same feature forces you to lean more to initiate the edge for turns. I found it to be very playful yet stable on groomers at speed. It's a nice board and I think that most riders of any proficiency can enjoy. The price is right so if either of the 2 sizes works for you pick one up. Don't over think it and just go ride.
i am 5'8" about 150lbs looking to be in the park or toying around. should o go 148 or 152? leaning toward 148.
A shopper on Dec 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello, if you are going to spend the majority of your time in the park the 148 Rocknrolla would be a great choice. Thanks.
I am 5'8" and 155 lbs, advanced beginner-intermediate, does this board work for me?
Cornelius on Nov 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello Cornelius, The Rocknrolla Amptek is a great choice for the beginner to advanced rider that is looking for a forgiving board that they can progress with. Thank you.
Hi. I'm 5'8 and 180. I ride a 153 and feel I don't have control I would like. I think the 148 would be so much fun to move around and pop with. Opinions?
Andrew D on Mar 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you feel like you want to move down in size then by all means. I can only tell you that Rossignol suggests that the rider on a 148cm should be 90-140lbs.
My husband is 5'6" and about 160 lbs, very athletic/strong and an intermediate to advanced snowboarder. Not a lot of park action but some, and lots of backcountry action. would the 148 or 152 be a better fit?
Kathleen D on Dec 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Kathleen. According to Rossignol's weight chart, he fits better on the 152cm.
I wear size 11 boots, would this board work for me?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
This Rossignol Rocknrolla Amptek 148cm Snowboard will be close to too narrow for you.
