Description: Rome Artifact Rocker Snowboard

The Rome Artifact Rocker Snowboard is one that you're not going to want to put in the back of your closet, garage, or basement as an artifact of boards past. No, you're going to want this "Artifact" handy at all times, thanks to the catchless freedom it offers through its JibPop Rocker profile, which offers a good sized flat area in the middle to hold tight to rails and serves up all you need for pressing and buttering. If presses, jumps, and jibs are part of your fun, you can count on the Artifact's natural flex to respond with forgiveness for what you're putting it through.

As far as Jumps go on this board? I know its not for the big stuff but for medium to small jumps how would it fair?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2014
Best Answer: For medium to small jumps I think that the board would do acceptably well considering it's a jib/pop board. Depending on your style of riding and your experience, approaching a small medium or even a large jump, this board will get the job done because of the pop. Good luck this season.

i want a playful snowboard that can butter, hit rails, and little bit of around the mountain but also hit pretty big jumps. i was looking into the rome butterknife 2014 but i feel like its gonna be to stiff. is the artifact a good park/ jump board? or should i get the butterknife 2014?
Bryan s on Feb 2, 2014
Best Answer: I honestly have not rode it yet, I have custom binding on it and the weight of the board with them on there is a lot lighter then my last board, it's diffently not a stiff board, lt has has decent amout of flex/play! One of the guys I ride with has last years model and don't believe they are much different and he hits everything with boxes, rails, jumps, took it out to Colorado late last winter and he said it did great out there ! I'm excited myself to tear with it this winter, I don't think you would wrong getting it!

I wear a size 11 Burton Rampant boot wirh large 2014 Burton Mission Bindings. Will I get some toe drag with this board? Or will I have to go for a wide?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2014
Best Answer: With the Rome Artifact Rocker Snowboard a size 11 is right on the edge. The Missions should give you some added clearance but you may be safer going with a wide board - especially if you're younger and still growing
