So I'm starting out this year boarding, having never snowboarded in the past, and was wondering if this or a Burton TWC, or maybe something else entirely, would be the best beginner board that will also help me transition into more advanced riding as the season progresses?
Austin P on Sep 12, 2013
Best Answer: I think this is a great board for a beginner that will hold it's own for awhile. However, I'm basing this on my experience riding a few different boards from a board shop. I would suggest for your first couple of trips you rent a board from a local place and get a feel for the different styles. After I did that I went with this board and am very pleased.

Is it a great beginner board? I have been snowboarding for years but I've never bought a snowboard.
A shopper on Aug 22, 2013
Best Answer: Yes the K2 Brigade Snowboard is a great beginner snowboard. It has a beginner friendly flex and profile shape that lifts the contact points for a catch free ride. Smooooooth sailing is what this board it all about.
