Austin P asked: So I'm starting out this year boarding, having never snowboarded in the past, and was wondering if this or a Burton TWC, or maybe something else entirely, would be the best beginner board that will also help me transition into more advanced riding as the season progresses? Damian B: I think this is a great board for a beginner that will hold it's own for awhile. However, I'm basing this on my experience riding a few different boards from a board shop. I would suggest for your first couple of trips you rent a board from a local place and get a feel for the different styles. After I did that I went with this board and am very pleased. Sep 12, 2013

Lisa D: This board is definitely a great beginner board. Last year was my first year snowboarding and this board helped me progress a lot. I went from barely being able to ride a whole trail without falling too hitting box rails and kickers at the park by the end of the season. I definitely recommend this board.

Matt GStaff: Yes the K2 Brigade Snowboard is a great beginner snowboard. It has a beginner friendly flex and profile shape that lifts the contact points for a catch free ride. Smooooooth sailing is what this board it all about. Aug 23, 2013
