I'm 5'9" and 160. Should I get the board in a 151 because I will be using it for jibbing or just get the 153 that would match my height?
DeSwerve on Oct 27, 2013
Best Answer: You fit within the the weight ranges for both the 151cm and 153cm Capita Ultrafear.

Boards are generally suggested by weight not height.

If you're going to be in the park a lot go with the 151cm but if you're cruising groomers more get the 153cm.

Would this be a good all mountain board? I ride park but tend to do a decent amount of backcountry
Paul C on Sep 5, 2013
Best Answer: It definitely excels in the park/street but does fine in deeper snow. Has surprising float. Capita does have some options that are less rail-focused that might suit your backcountry needs better.

How does the freestyle fk handle on large jumps?
Ryan B on Nov 3, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Ryan,

What would you consider to be large jumps - 20', 80', 120'?

The Capita Ultrafear is a pretty amazing freestyle deck. It has won multiple TWS Good Wood Awards and is rocked by some of the best riders in snowboarding.

If you're able to land bolts (weight distributed evenly on both feet) every time you'll have no problem on any size jump. If however, you tend to land off center the reverse camber on the nose/tail can wash out if you're not used to it.

Hi I am looking at purchasing the Capita Ultrafear 2014 in 147cm however I noticed that the shipping is back ordered till the 1st September. I was wondering what the reason is for this and how much stock you will be getting for that particular board?

Thanks
Arnold P on Aug 1, 2013
Best Answer: The Capita Ultrafear Snowboard is on back order because Capita has not received their boards yet from their manufacturer. We usually order about a handful of Capita Ultra Fears in the 147cm size.

You can place your order now, and when we receive the board it will be shipped directly to you.
