Description: Burton Ripcord Snowboard

From the backcountry powder to the maintained runs, the Burton Ripcord Snowboard is ready to tear up the slopes and leave all others in the dust. The Ripcord is rated for both freeride and all-mountain boarding so that you can go play in the powder without getting bogged down and have plenty of adventures. The V-Rocker tips up both the tip and tail of the board allow for better float along the powder so that both beginning and intermediate riders will find enough challenges to keep them exploring and testing their limits. This is a board that will give you a fast ride from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

Came back as the top 10 boards for beginner/intermediate riders of 2014 and Burton has a pretty prestigious record of delivering high quality.

Can I put on other bindings that are not burton?
A shopper on Mar 11, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, but you need to check if they have a channel system compatible plate for your bindings.

My son is 5'6" and is 90 lbs. Is this 150 too short for him even though he's a lightweight? I hope to get two years out of it at which time he'll be about 5'9-5"10 and 120 lbs. He's built like his brother so I know what to expect. He's a beginner/intermediate.
cindy p on Dec 9, 2014
Best Answer: I am 6 foot and about 150 lbs I got a 154 and absolutely love it. I do like a little shorter board for doing tricks and stuff. I went for a board that was right in the middle on the sizing chart. Dont go too small or risk cracking or breaking the board. In the end it all depends on personal prefrence. I believe that would fit him well for his size.

Hello, I was wanting to buy the button ripcord 154cm and I was wondering if the bindings sapient stash would work with that board?
Kristin C on Nov 25, 2014
Best Answer: Unfortunately the Sapient bindings will not work with the Burton Ripcord Snowboard - or any Burton boards. You will need to pair the Burton Ripcord Snowboard with a 3D compatible binding. Check out our selection here: http://www.the-house.com/3d-bindings.html

Is there a possibility shipping that article to germany?
Sebastian S on Nov 22, 2014
Best Answer: Sebastian,
Good Day! We love to ship to Germany, however we are not able to ship Burton products outside of the United States. For more info, take a look at our international shipping page:http://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/shipping-information/international-shipping/. To get this board, you will most likely need to find a local shop that is a Burton dealer. I apologize.

I am looking for a well built binding that is going to last me a while but i don't want to spend too much money on them. I am a intermediate rider that will mostly being just riding the slopes, but will occasionally hit some jumps. Definitely want to try and stay below $200 if possible. Got any suggestions?
caleb r on Nov 19, 2014
Best Answer: Caleb,
You really can't go wrong with the Burton or Union family of bindings. I would recommend the Customs, Missions and Malavitas from personal experience.

Is this board a directional twin, or just directional? It says directional twin in the description, but lower in the spec tables it just says directional.
A shopper on Mar 5, 2014
Best Answer: It's directional twin. <3 it
