What's the difference (if any) between this board and the previous year of this board?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2014
Best Answer: My x-board was burton vapor. I think custom x is more soft but is strong in edge and base.

It is wide type, but compared with vapor, custom x is thinner than vapor about 15mm and it causes my boots out of waist.

My boots size is 275mm and binding is flow NX2-gt.
Binding angle is 24, +6.

is this snowboard great for carving and turning. also is it good for steep slopes. what's is the strengths and weaknesses?
michael on Oct 28, 2013
Best Answer: Hello Michael,

To be honest the Burton Custom Smalls will ride exactly like the adult version, but for kids. The Custom has and always will be a quiver of one board that does it all fast or slow; deeps, steeps, parks, trees, and groomers etc...

The Burton Custom Smalls is a Twin shaped board what rides the same both regular and switch, combine that with a hybrid profile shape called Flying V and you have a board that feels loose / playful while pressing / riding flatbase and responsive / powerful while carving / cruising.

It's the best all mountain kids/youth board there is. Period.
