Description: Rossignol Myth Amptek Snowboard 144 - Womens

The Rossignol Myth Amptek Snowboard shows exactly why Rossignol's AmpTek technology is getting so popular, as it combines an exciting level of performance to a comforting amount of forgiveness and control. This makes the board ideal for intermediate or entry level riders, while the True Twin shape makes it ideal for all-mountain, freeride, or freestyle usage. With its soft/medium flex and the stability of its Progressive Radius tips and Single Radius sidecuts, the Myth is a great starter board but can also serve up plenty of potential.

    Pros: Responsive Flex,Playful,Buttery, Cons:

Great colors and a buttery base equals pure gnar! Colors really pop and so does the base. Its got a cool combo of enough rocker and camber. Gives a really nice and stable ride for landing jumps and jibbing on trees. A little more rattle at higher speeds, but its a sweet board all around.

Britney S: Ummm well I'm 5'7" 120 and it seems perfect to me! But this board can be universal! But since you're soooo tiny I think 144 is too big you don't want to get too big of a board or you won't have any control!! I say look for a board around 139 but don't go any bigger then 140! Happy boarding!! (: Feb 23, 2014

aloha hannie asked: is this a good board for beginners? im 5'7 and 120 pounds... will the 144 be okay? Dec 13, 2013

Sally P: Hi Hannah, I just bought this board and is perfect for beginners. 144 -146 will work well for you.

Also, I am extremely pleased with ordering from The House.

Mary Kate G: It would be a good beginner board, maybe a little to flexible for a beginner, but I think it would be fine. However, I would not go 144.
I am 5'3 and weigh ...more than 120 lol and I have a 149.

I would measure your body in CM up to your lips, (your chin the smallest).
For 5'7'' I would go anywhere from 150-155...152,154 would probably be ideal!

I am a 5 year snowboard instructor and 12 year rider. Good luck this season!!!!

Mariah H: I am 5'7 and 120 lbs as well! And I actually just bought this board recently. I haven't ridden a whole lot but I had been using a board that was a 141 (too small). So I went with the 149. I'm loving it so far, and I feel like it's a much better size for me. I love the flexibility on this board and it is a great board to start with. Dec 14, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hello Hannah,

You fit within the weight range of the 144cm Rossignol Myth Snowboard. Its a great beginners deck with a soft flex, and a hybrid profile shape that lifts the board's contact point off the snow for a catch free riding while learning to progress.
