My wife is 5'4"...150lbs...and a beginner to intermediate rider. what size would you recommend?

BEST ANSWER: I'd recommend something in the 140-150 range. Stick to the shorter end if she wants to learn tricks or ride the park (a shorter board is more maneuverable) If she just wants to cruise the mountain lean toward the longer end, as longer boards are more stable. If she's unsure, go for something in the middle. Hope that helps.
