Great Board/Great Price
This is my 6th season snowboarding and I previously had a Burton V-Rocker board and a DC Biddy board both great boards and good boards to learn on. The DC Ply was just the board I needed to step up my skill level. It turns great and is extremely stable at higher speeds. Absolutely loving it!

is this a good board for beginners? I have never purchased a board before but plan to start snowboarding more once i move north.

BEST ANSWER: The DC Ply is a little stiff, therefore we give it the intermediate-advanced level rating. I think you could ride it as a beginner. Jennifer makes a good point about Rocker boards, they are generally easier to start off on - easier to turn, more forgiving.
