BEST ANSWER: Hi Lauren,

we carry the 2014 and 2016 models that support Burton's 3D mounting system.

my daughter isnew to snowboarding she s 10 years old 5'2" weighs 120 lbs and wears a size 9 womens boot. what board size? local ski shop says 142. my fear is shes a fast grower her father and I are both 6'3"
Jennifer c on Nov 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jennifer. Your daughter fits best on the 142cm Burton Genie Snowboard. The 142cm size has a weight range of 115 - 150 lbs. A board's weight is greatly determined by the riders weight, not height.
What is the difference between this board and the k2 duchess?
Adam F on Oct 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 2016 Burton Genie Snowboard will have many differences. The Genie is one of the most well rounded women specific boards around. It rips through the park, groomers, and trees. The Genie is very lightweight and have a catch free poppy Flat Top profile shape!
Looking into the Burton Genie Snowboard - Womens 2016, but I can't quite figure out my board size. My snowboard boots are a 6.5 and I weigh between 115 and 120. Still a beginner but picked up the sport very fast. What will work best the 138 or 142?
Janet on Mar 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the answer.

Burton lists the rider of the 138's weight at 100-130lbs. They list the weight of the ideal rider for the 142 at 115-150lbs.
What's the difference between the genie and the genie blem?
Sean C on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Good Question!

Blem (blemish) snowboards may have a minor cosmetic defect like an slightly off set graphic, colorway, or minor flaw in the topsheet. The blems do not alter the board performance, it performs exactly the same, but it's often times much cheaper!

Buying a blem board is a great way to say some money and ride the deck you want!

*All blem boards come with a full manufacturer warranty.
Hi there....I don't mean to piggy back off of one of these threads but I noticed that you mentioned that a board's weight is greatly determined by the riders weight, not height? I've been eyeing the Genie board as this is my first board I will be purchasing, however I'm 5'5 and 190lbs. Is this not a good fit for me? Thank you!!
Wendy B on Jan 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Wendy. You might want to go with a Men's size. Lots of Women go for this option.
hi, I am 5'3 and 110 lbs, shoe size 7.5. I'm a beginner. Should I go with size 138cm or 142cm?
vitamin707 on Jan 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey Cindy. We currently have this board available in 142 but not 138. Which is fine, I think that the 142cm will be a good fit for you.
what is the best size snow board for my daughter 5'-1" 115lbs? This particular board?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
It will depend a little on your daughters personal preference and skill level. Burton suggests that the 138cm length Genie would be an excellent size now. The 142cm length can be ridden by her competently as well. The advantage is that if she is still growing and gaining in skill the 142 will stick with her a bit longer.
