Catia P: Hi there, I bought this board (the 140cm) and got the Burton Stilleto bindings. Weather didn't allow me to test them yet, but I did attach them to the board and everything is fine. They also look really stylish :)

Ruben G: My wife bought this board along with the Flow Flite 2w bindings in a size M. The Flow binding disk will securely attach to the Burton 3-hole setup. The Burton website suggested that the Burton Stiletto EST bindings work well with the Feather snowboard. I hope this helps. Oct 1, 2013

Joseph R: You can use most women's sized bindings with this board. But make sure they use Burton's 3-D plate system. Most burton bindings have this, so I would encourage you to start your search with Burton bindings. Plus they make some quality gear. Good luck! Oct 1, 2013

EastCoast asked: What Burton bindings do you suggest with this board? Burton EST or regular Burton bindings? Thanks! Dec 7, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hello Tristan,

This version of the Burton Feather Snowboard is only compatible with bindings that feature a 3D disc. Burton bindings featuring the EST system will not work on this snowboard.

The best bindings that would match up with the Feather are the Burton Stiletto Snowboard Bindings. Check them out below:

A shopper asked: I'm new to boarding and instead of wasting money on renting a board, I'm looking to purchase one. I'm a little confused as to how the sizing works. I'm 5ft tall and around 105 lbs. What size board should I get? Thank you so much. Jan 1, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
SarahSnow: I definitely wouldn't go with a 144. I'm the same size (5 ft tall and same weight) and when I was a beginner, shorter was better. Go with a 140. Shorter boards are easier to control and when you are new to snowboarding, you want to start out shorter. I've been snowboarding for 17 years and I still don't ride any longer than a 143. Hope that helps. Burton website has an awesome board finder tool that helps - use it to get your size then come back and shop! Jan 3, 2014

Matt GStaff: A boards length is greatly determined by the rider's weight. You fit within the weight range of boards that are 135cm-145cm in length.

If you're looking at getting the Burton Feather Snowboard, I'd suggest getting the 144cm length.

A shopper asked: Hi, Im 5ft 5 and weight around 170, What size board do you suggest? Thank you! Nov 26, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: You could rider boards in between 152cm & 156cm.

As for the Burton Feather Snowboard, I'd choose the 153cm length.

Paul M: Something in the 150's is good. I'm a big guy weight wise, but not super tall, so it's always a balance between getting a good board size that will float you vs getting one that's too long to throw around. That's an individual decision. If you're a park person, a smaller board is 'okay'. If you're going to be in powder terrain mostly all mountain, I'd stick with the longer board, especially if you're heavier, like me. Dec 30, 2013

Matt GStaff: You fit within the weight range of the 144cm Burton Feather Snowboard (100-130 lbs.). The 144cm size will allow you to grow into it, and it'll fit you right now too! Jan 3, 2014

Matt GStaff: You fit within the weight ranges of the 144cm - 153cm sizes, I'd get the 144cm size if you ride more park, and the 149cm size if you freeride more. Dec 9, 2013

Linda asked: Hi, I am a beginner in snowboarding and I am having difficulty choosing my board size. My height is 5' 3" and weight is about 115-120lbs. Which size board do you recommend? Nov 22, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hi Linda,

You could ride boards between size 140cm and 149cm. However you would fit best on boards right around the 144cm size because you fit right in the middle of the board's weight range.

IF you're looking to get a Burton Feather Snowboard, get the 144cm.
