Description: K2 Vavavoom Rocker Snowboard - Womens

The K2 Vavavoom snowboard is the ultimate women's specific freestyle deck. While designing the K2 Vavavoom snowboard Leanne Pelosi kept only the best technology in the board to assist intermediate to advanced riders to the next level. The Jib Rocker profile has a flat stable zone that extends past the centered stance insert packs to the gradual rise of the Jib Tips nose and tail. The Jib Tips in the K2 Vavavoom snowboard allow you to ride the board 5cm short than you normally would ride because the board has the same 2000 Extruded effective edge base but shortened nose and tail lengths. The women's specific Rhythm core is wrapped in a Biaxial fiberglass and has soft tips and a smooth flex in between the tip rise. You can make the whole mountain your terrain park with the fast 2000 Extruded base and the Hyper Progressive sidecut that combines both larger and small radius' for fast aggressive turns for 60' step downs and slow butter turns for jibs. We all know what matters most is always on the inside, but the K2 Vavavoom also has a sweet Die Cut Topsheet.

K2 Vavavoom Rocker Snowboard
Oh, this board. I have it in a 139 (I'm 5'6, 130 lbs, but I ride 'em short). Why did they discontinue this board?

I got mine in 2014 to replace an Arbor Stance 148. It has been a revelation. The flex and forgiveness are unparalleled, but it's still responsive and lets me fly through the trees making quick turns. This board is like that drunk friend that keeps telling you "you can SO hit that rail/bonk that sign/fit through those trees/butter that knuckle". It will make you do stupid things, and you'll be shocked at how often you succeed.

Cons, not many. It's kind of lousy on ice because it's so soft. It's also not a powder board, obviously, but since I'm too poor for a quiver, I ride it when I'm hiking bowls anyway, and I have no problem with it. Because it's so soft, it's easy to pull the nose up and stay on top of the snow, and once you're back in the trees, it's all like "turn me! turn me! you can DEFINITELY fit through that gap! Wheee!"

Actually, "Wheee!" would be exactly how I'd sum up my VaVa Voom. If you can ride the sizes left, get it before it's gone!
