{BUR}TON OF FUN!
Second board ever, first Burton board, and I'm sad I didn't get one sooner. I never knew how crappy my first board rode until I rode a good board. Like butter! I'm in love with the design and it rides beautifully! I would definitely recommend!

In love with this board
I absolutely love how flexible this board is, I take it out on groomed MN snow and have so much fun cruising down the hills on this. I bought it with the Lexa bindings and have to say I really like the channel system. Not to mention I do love the colors that peek out in the snow!

I am looking to purchase this board, it seems to fit the different needs I have. I am concerned about size. I've been riding a 153 for 15 years and everywhere I go people tell me it's too big for me. I'm 5 1" but I weigh 165. So weight wise it says bigger board but I'm a lot of muscle can I get away with the 147?
Also what year is this model?

BEST ANSWER: Wow. I can't believe you ride a board that big! I am 5'6' and about the same weight as you and bought this board a few months ago. I absolutely LOVE it! I was wondering if a bigger board might be better for me since I weigh considerably more then the last time I purchased a 147, but I'm not actually sure how much that matters (to me). I'd definitely recommend buying this board. This is the 2016 model.
I currently ride a 2016 Feelgood flying V. It is OK but seems to be too stiff for me. I want to add nose and tail rolls to my buttering. How does the Socialite compare? In addition to playing around on easy blues, I love to carve my way down faster blues and also some easier glades. I also like to hit the challenge of Black runs and some softer moguls fields.

BEST ANSWER: The Feelgood is one of the most responsive and stiff female boards in the line.

With a Flat Top profile shape, Off-Axis Filet-O-Flex, and Scoop nose and tail shapes the Solcialite is a jibber's dream come true. A soft feel with a buttery smooth flex is what the Socialite is all about.

Awesome choice.
Does this come with the baseplate for the bindings?
speeeddyy on Aug 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Felicia,
No. Regular snowboards come as just the board, and plates will come with the bindings. This Socialite uses the Channel Mounting System, and your bindings will have to be compatible to that.
