My boy picked this color and graphics. It is his first board so we will see how it goes. Thanks for the help!

I chose this board because I have been impressed with K2 products in the past and it looks like a good board with the right tech for my son.

What is a decent snowboard for a 12 year old that has snowboarded about 8 times? Don't want to spend a ton of money since he is growing.

Best Answer: It is a nice board, however extremely heavy. It weighs almost the same as my 168 Arbor. Not an issue unless he is looking to do spins or anything that involves it leaving the ground.
